Carter made his first road trip to Columbia this weekend. Granny and Papa (that would be Thomas' mom and dad) had a blast having him there. They loved having all of us there, but Carter definitely had the lion's share of the attention this time. (And I'm sure it will stay that way from now on.) He got to go to church in Columbia and meet everyone. It was a lot of fun. Carter was so good on the road. I was a little nervous to see how he would handle a 5 hour car ride but he did wonderfully. He slept most of the way and just hung out. Granny and Papa live on 50 acres so Papa had a good time walking Carter out in the yard and to the lake. He said they talked about catching fish and blazing trails. :)
Carter's great grandmother, Nana, also made the road trip from Tallahassee. This was the first time she got to meet Carter so it was a special trip.
Carter's other great grandparents live in Columbia already, so we got everyone together and had a 4 generation photo shoot.
For some reason, my photos from Columbia are not uploading right, but I can't not put a picture of Carter on here, so here you go. I will try to figure out the problem and upload the family pictures later.

This is Carter and Papa. (Thomas' dad) I already know the comments I will get about him being in the Ole Miss jersey. Yes, it kills me. But whenever his dad puts him in it, I make sure to grab his Miss State blanket. :)
This is Nana (the great grandmother), Granny, Thomas, and Carter. Four generations!
And this is Grandmom and Granddad with Granny and Papa. Carter sure is blessed to have so many grandparents and great grandparents that love him.
